1. Who we are

Ondera ("we", "us") operates onderahq.com and connects verified language and subject-matter experts with AI companies. For questions about this policy, contact hello@onderahq.com.

2. Data we collect

Expert applicants: name, email, country, languages and dialects, profession and licence details, work history, uploaded documents (such as licences or CVs), payout details, and the answers you provide in our forms.

AI companies and vendors: name, work email, company, and the project details you submit.

Website visitors: basic analytics and attribution data such as referring page, landing page, and UTM parameters, used to understand how people find us.

3. Why we use it

To verify credentials, match experts to projects, communicate about opportunities and applications, process payouts, respond to enquiries, meet legal and tax obligations, and improve our services.

4. Sharing

We share limited profile information with clients when you are proposed for or working on a project. We use service providers for hosting, database, email delivery, and payments, who process data on our instructions only.

Uploaded verification documents are stored privately and are accessible only to Ondera administrators.

5. Data sharing and sale (recruitment)

Where you give consent through the opt-in permission in your account, we may share, license, or sell your professional profile and contact details to third parties so they can contact you and offer you paid data and AI projects. This permission concerns connecting you to work opportunities only. It does not grant us or any third party the right to use your work product, or to use your expertise as training or benchmarking data, without a separate agreement.

6. Successor / transferability

In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your account information and the consents you have given may be transferred to the successor or acquiring entity, which will remain bound by the permission you granted and by privacy terms at least as protective as these. We will notify you of any such transfer and of any material change to how your data is used.

7. Withdrawal and effect

You may withdraw this permission at any time in your settings without affecting your ability to use the platform. Withdrawal stops future sharing; it does not undo sharing that already took place, and third parties who lawfully received your data under a prior valid consent may retain it subject to their own obligations. We cannot control how a third party uses data after a lawful transfer.

8. Retention

We keep application and project data for as long as your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

9. Security

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and private storage for documents. No system is perfectly secure, but access is limited to those who need it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email hello@onderahq.com and we will respond within 30 days.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember how you first reached the site. We do not use advertising cookies.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be announced by email or on this page.
